SLOBO GOLF

Coach Ben Slobodien, the founder of SLOBO GOLF, combines a passion for golf with a deep commitment to providing world-class instruction. A proud graduate of Woodbridge High School in Irvine, he went on to earn his degree from the prestigious UNLV Hospitality School, where he honed his leadership and service skills. Following his academic success, he earned his PGA certification.

Over the years, Ben has worked at some of the most respected golf clubs in the country, including The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Rancho San Joaquin Golf Club and Strawberry Farms. His expertise has been shaped by learning from some of the best in the game, including world-renowned instructor Peter Donahue, an author of the PGA Professional Teaching Manual, and professionals trained under the guidance of legends like Hank Haney and David Leadbetter.

In addition to his teaching background, Ben has played a significant role in developing and leading Nike Junior Camps, where he mentored young golfers and nurtured their skills. He has also designed and executed corporate events for major companies such as KPMG, Taco Bell, and PIMCO. Coach Ben went on to coach the Woodbridge HS boys and Girls golf programs with his mentor, Tracy Roberts. They won 2 CIF championships during his time there.

Today, Ben brings his wealth of experience, education, and passion to SLOBO GOLF, offering a top-tier training environment for golfers of all levels. His number one mission is to make golf available to EVERY and ANY one who wishes to play the great sport.

He resides in South County with his wife, Olivia, and their daughter, Palmer. They enjoy walking down on Balboa, going to Disneyland and trying new sushi spots.
